When we refer to the HELIX brand, we mean our name, the trademark “HELIX,” our logos, symbols, designs, icons, and any other registered or unregistered trademarks, trade names, trade dress, materials, content, or other intellectual property owned or controlled by Hypersonic.

All right, title, interest and associated goodwill in and to the HELIX brand will, at all times, remain with Hypersonic. Hypersonic expressly reserves all rights.

If you plan to use the HELIX brand in any manner allowed by these Guidelines, follow these rules:

You MAY:

• Use the HELIX name as an adjective to describe the content you publish to the HELIX platform.

◦ Correct: Naming your server “CityLife RP | A HELIX Roleplay Server”

◦ Incorrect: Telling your audience to “come play HELIX” or otherwise using HELIX as a noun.

• Refer to the HELIX brand when creating non-commercial content about the HELIX platform.

◦ For example, you may use the HELIX name in a video, article, or tutorial about our platform.

• Use HELIX branding in thumbnails, livestream overlays, or watermarks when you make content featuring the HELIX platform, as long as (1) the use conforms with these Guidelines, (2) the use is not misleading, or the use creates some sense of direct sponsorship or direct approval of the content by Hypersonic, and (3) the content is free to view (i.e., not behind a paywall).

• Use HELIX branding to sell Creator Items via the HELIX Add-On Vault, so long as it is used in a manner to indicate where to get or purchase the Creator items, and not to indicate Hypersonic’s official sponsorship or official affiliation with the item or Creator.

You MAY NOT:

• Use HELIX branding, including the HELIX name or logo, in any product name, company name, or domain name.

◦ For example, HelixAI, Helix Studios, helixmods.com, and similar uses are not allowed.

• Use the HELIX branding, including the HELIX name or logo, in a manner that is defamatory, libelous, or degrading to Hypersonic in any manner, determined at Hypersonic’s sole discretion.

• Market yourself, your entity, your product, or your services, including any Server on the HELIX platform, in a manner that implies a partnership with or endorsement by the HELIX platform.

◦ This includes marketing yourself or your products or services as “HELIX official,” or “partnered with,” “sponsored by,” or “endorsed by” HELIX or Hypersonic without our written permission.

◦ You should always make it clear to consumers that you are not affiliated or partnered with the HELIX platform.

• Alter or modify the HELIX name, logo, or other branding in a manner that is misleading or inappropriate.

◦ This includes combining the HELIX name or logo with symbols or images in a manner that is reasonably likely to falsely lead the public to believe the HELIX brand is associated with a third party.

◦ This also includes combining the HELIX name or logo with symbols or images in a manner that is reasonably likely to be disparaging to Hypersonic, or harm Hypersonic’s reputation and public standing, determined at Hypersonic’s sole discretion.

• Use the HELIX branding in connection with NFTs, blockchain assets, or digital merchandise.

◦ You may, however, use the HELIX branding in connection with Creator Items sold on the HELIX Add-On Vault.

• Register or attempt to register a business, legal entity, or trademark containing the word “HELIX,” or any confusingly similar word(s).

• Use the HELIX brand in a commercial context, such as merchandising, without written permission.

◦ For the avoidance of doubt, you must first obtain our written permission in order to use the HELIX brand in order to: i) sell physical merchandise (including but not limited to apparel and plushies) that features HELIX branding; ii) use HELIX branding in any paid advertising or marketing campaigns; iii) or create and promote events or experiences branded as HELIX events (such as tournaments, expos, or roleplaying convention appearances).

We want you to have freedom in naming your Servers and Worlds, and you may use the HELIX name to show compatibility with the HELIX platform, but you may not use the HELIX name to imply affiliation with or endorsement by the HELIX platform or Hypersonic.

• Correct: “Midnight City RP: A HELIX Roleplay Server”

• Incorrect: “Official HELIX West RP” or “HELIX: Apocalypse”
